Asian Flank Steak

¼ cup sherry
¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tsp. sesame oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ tsp. black pepper
1½ minced garlic
¼ cup chopped green onions
1 tsp. minced ginger root
2 lb. flank steak
Combine all ingredients, except steak, into a large measuring cup. Whisk to
fully mix and place with steak into a large Ziploc bag. Pour marinade over steak
and seal tightly. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or freeze for later use.
Preheat grill or broiler to medium high heat. Place steak on grill or broiler
pan, reserving extra marinade. Grill or broil 6-7 minutes on each side until
desired doneness is reached. Let rest 3-5 minutes. Bring extra marinade to a low
boil in a small saucepan for 4-5 minutes. Slice steak thin across the grain,
drizzle with marinade and serve.
