The Guinness Oyster Festival - September 14, 2008

The Guinness Oyster Festival will take place in downtown Asbury Park on September 14th from 12-6 pm. It is destined to become the largest, most enjoyable street festival in NJ. On September 14 from 12-6 pm, Cookman Avenue and the Vicinity will be closed to vehicular traffic and filled with Music, All Types of Food, Guinness on Tap and Of Course...Fresh Oysters!

We are doing a huge amount of advertising…posters on NJ Transit Buses and Trains for the entire month of August, 15000 fliers dropped on the Bayhead to NYC line, the Asbury Park Press is our Presenting Sponsor, we have spots reserved on 106.3 and we have many additional print and web media outlets that will be promoting our event.

The Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Guinness Oysterfest on Sunday, September 14th, from 12-6pm. This will be a huge seafood and music street festival on Cookman Avenue and the surrounding area, which will showcase our excellent restaurants as well as entertain our audience with a mix of Irish music, jazz and rock and roll.
