Niccio – Belmar
The Mossuto family, owners of Mossuto Market Café in Wall, has
been passing down the finest Italian cooking for generations.
Now, they are preparing to open Niccio, to arrive sometime this
summer in Belmar. With Niccio, Owner Biagio Schiano aims to
create a rustic but upscale Italian restaurant and bar where
patrons will want to come in, sit down, have a martini, maybe
eat a piece of cheese and think “Oh, NOW I feel relaxed”. This
restaurant will invoke a decidedly European sensibility.
Original Soupman - Red Bank
Recently opened by the Joyce Brothers’, The Original SoupMan at
39 Broad Street showcases 50 varieties of soup daily. As the
“centerpiece of the meal”, each bowl is presented with a piece
of fresh, crusty baguette, fresh fruit and a piece of imported
chocolate — just like Al Yeganeh served it at his original shop.
